QIPCO Twin Towers (G+ 28 Storey) [ Qatar ]

Supply, delivery & erection of Hollowcore slabs & Precast Concrete External Cladding Panels. UPC was awarded this contract by Midmac in 2005 allowing us to demonstrate in Qatar the quality of the precast panels with exposed aggregates.

Hollowcore Slabs: 1,529m2 of 200mm. 17,099m2 of 265mm.
Cladding Panels: External cladding panels from ground floor to roof level.
120mm thick (60/60) panels, varying sizes, for all areas excluding ground floor shear wall, approx. area: 21,423m2. 1500mm thick (60/90) panels, varying sizes, for ground floor shear walls, approx. area: 1,649m2.
Precast elements supplied with OPC White Cement and Omani Marble aggregates 5-10mm for the 60mm thick outer layer & OPC Grey Cement with Gabbro Aggregates for the 60mm thick inner layer & with 50mm thick extruded polystyrene insulation with density back side 32-35 kgs/m3, at the back of panel. The panels are of retarded deep exposed aggregate finish at exposed sides only and smooth trowelled finish at back side.

Zamil Tower [ Bahrain ]

One of the more challenging projects undertaken by the company in recent times is the erection of 1,667 cladding panels for the Zamil Tower. Total area of cladding panels is 10781 meter squares. The 22-storey landmark tower, which incorporates both traditional and modern features, is clad with 200 mm and 150-mm-thick insulated and solid white sandblasted panels. The tower touches a maximum height of 95.5 m and will serve as a gateway to the suq area in central Manama.

Zamil Tower has posed a lot of challenges in the design and erection of panels. The two-tower office building is complex in plan and elevation, which has made it architecturally

Al Salam Tower & Car Park (Chelsea Tower) [ Dubai ]

All in all a 55 storey tower located in the Dubai’s Main Shk. Zayed Road. One of UPC’ landmark for quality and performance.
This project involves Design and erection of precast concrete band beams, prestressed solid slabs and Hollowcore Slabs for tower building and Hollowcore slabs and cladding panels for Carpark Building.
Hollowcore slabs for the area approx. 36677sqm, 150mm doublestand beams for 2220LM and 200mmm cladding panels 200mm for apprx. 1005sqm.

Aviation tower [ Bahrain ]

Design, supply, delivery & erection of approx.:
990m2 of 200mm thick insulated load bearing white precast peripheral walls, 420m2 of 200mm thick Grey internal load bearing panels, 400/150mm grey tapered panels, precast beams and 150mm & 200mm thick Hollowcore slabs. Scope of work also included construction of in-situ foundation/sub-structure.

Sports City Tower [ Qatar ]

For the construction of the tallest building in Qatar, UPC has agreed with Midmac & Six Construct to supply precast concrete staircases flights from level 01 to level 50 only.
As the Tower has to be ready for the Asian Games and have to be constructed according a tight time schedule, UPC is proud to be selected as a preferred manufacturer for this prestigious project.
Finish: Grey Cement fairfaced finish for the mould side and trowelled finish for the other sides.
Quantity: Approx. 288 cu. Meter (204 nos. of stair flights).
